Drifting is a driving stunt in which the rear-end of the vehicle is oriented to the left or to the right of the moving direction. This is accomplished by turning the front wheels in an opposing direction to the orientation of the rear, ideally at a very high velocity.
This sport has become popular among young Arab men using cars which only the very foolish or the very wealthy would use to perform this stunt with. Weaving at very high speeds among "civilian motorists" or performed near large crowds without guardrail protection, "Arab Drift" videos also tend to contain graphic footage of accidents. Another recurring feature of these short takes is an Arabic pop music soundtrack.
