Tecktonik is a dance style that emerged to the sound of Hardstyle in Paris, France. It is primarily an upper-body dance that incorporates elements of glowsticking, vogueing, and even hip-hop. This is in stark contrast to the lower-body focus of jumpen. Despite their differences, these two dance moves quickly evolved and proliferated on European dance floors and in video sharing sites.
